on stack - 2003-01 (sample todo-list) - "howto handle/process todo-lists":
- have all items stored in other applications conveniently.
- be able to have items or references to them *archived* centrally
-
be able to access informations via *one* interface.
- actually *multiple* interfaces should be possible
- the aim here is to get everything together (INTEGRATE!) (mnoGoSearch first! Torus::Archive later?)
projects/modules - suspended:

[original implementation: Claudio Matsuoka with contributions from Per Egil Kummervold and Erwin Burgstaller]

Build solutions that integrate Linux with MS as a desktop platform
and write some tools that get you the last bits needed for integration on the Linux side. (hey sysadmins!)
- Write these tools using free and open source software
-
What's all that stuff about - really? Making in-process queries to an OpenLDAP daemon (slapd) or other daemons (inn, etc.).
-
implement features:
- Have complex routing information stored in some LDAP-containers
-
look at "Lightweight Trigger Access Process" (LTAP)
see http://ltap.bell-labs.com/
[...]
LDAP directories are passive repositories that do not provide active monitoring and alerting facilities,
i.e., triggers. LTAP adds active facilities in a portable manner to LDAP servers.
Active facilities are necessary for LDAP servers to monitor accesses to directories and then take appropriate actions.
Such functionality is crucial for making Directory Enabled Networks (DENs) real.

not possible ;-( with dispatchmail:
when run via smrsh it looks like we can not connect to inn via CPAN's Net::NNTP.
=> ex-process!
